TempExperts is seeking an Assembly Technician to join a growing St. Petersburg team!
This position will be responsible for assisting in building a variety of quality subassemblies using a variety of methods. This position will fit parts to close tolerances and operating requirements using many different procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Set up production machinery to cut flexible shafts.
Use small hydraulic presses to attach metal fittings to shafts.
Inspect products using micrometer and calipers.
Type of Machines you will be working with: Hydraulic Press, Grinder, Abrasive Saw, Weld Cutter, Winder.
Requirements:
Associate degree in Engineering or related field or 2 years of relevant mechanical assembly experience.
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong math and computer skills.
Physical demands:
Ability to stand for up to eight hours per day.
Ability to move about, bend, stoop, use hands.
Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
