The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for reviewing cutting tools after use, ordering replacement cutting tools if needed, sending tools out for repair, reviewing tool lists to prepare tools for production runs, and maintaining inventory of the tool crib to facilitate production needs.
Responsibilities:
Inventory of all machining tools
Preparing machining tools for production use based on tooling reports.
Reviewing cutting tools after production use
Ordering tools
Sending tools out for repair
Required Proficiencies:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of related experience.
Meticulous and highly organized.
Knowledge of machine tools and wear characteristics (strongly preferred.)
Competent computer skills.
Effective communication and people skills.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Ability to work independently and effectively with a team.
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move items weighing up to and exceeding 75 lbs.
Repetitively sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, managing, and feeling. The job does require the use of stairs on a regular basis.
Talking and hearing, visual acuity-near and far, depth perception, field of vision, color vision.
