Job Description

Staff Accountant
Tampa, FL

TempExperts is seeking a Staff Accountant for a thriving company in Tampa, FL!

Responsibilities:

Posts journal entries.
Reconciles various general ledger accounts.
Prepares supporting schedules by gathering information from the general ledger and/or departments.
Answers accounting questions for leadership and branches by researching and interpreting data.
Assists with the preparation of sales and use tax and/or other business taxes.
Assists with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable functions.
Completes projects on time and accurately.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree within an Accounting Field and 5+ years’ experience OR equivalent experience.
QuickBooks Enterprise experience required.
Sales and use tax experience preferred but not required.
Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
Computer skills need to be broad based.
