Responsibilities:
Respond to customer service and other external department inquiries regarding order requirements and/or fulfilment issues research orders that were not shipped at the time requested.
Follows all established Corporate and regulatory safety and security procedures which include the handling of hazardous materials.
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipts of items and update computer tracking programs.
Help coordinate work activities within the department to ensure the highest possible productivity and quality.
Provide assistance as needed in shipping and all other areas of manufacturing.
Requirements:
Professional internal personal skills able to foster productive working relationships
Must be able to simultaneously manage several objectives.
Highly detail oriented, ability to multitask, and organized.
Manage moderately complex situations and solve problems.
Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
May be required to sit for extended period, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-30 pounds.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, lean principles, and other process improvement tools a plus. •
Ability to process and analyze technical and business information.
Experience:
Five (5) years related inventory management experience and/or training in preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Inventory Control knowledge and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and ERP System - ORACLE experience preferred.
Meet productivity, quality and safety targets and standards set by the department/company.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
