TempExperts is seeking a talented Accounting Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Tampa.
In this role, the Accounting Manager will be a critical team member at a government organization and will be under the general supervision of the Director of Finance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â
Supervises and performs complex administrative functions as required for overall management, reporting, and administration of the following programs: public housing, housing choice voucher, multifamily housing, Resident Opportunities Self Sufficiency, and Jobs Plus Program.
Evaluate and Implement changes as necessary to meet established regulations.
Reviews the work of subordinates for accuracy.
Work independently, and under limited supervision
Ensuring timely response and delivery
Reporting major activities through periodic meetings
Education, Skill, and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree within an Accounting Field and 5+ years of experience with auditing, general ledger, A/P and A/R, and Payroll experience
Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
Computer skills need to be broad based.
CPA is Preferred but not required.
