TempExperts is seeking an experienced TIG Welder- 1st shift 7am-4pm for a large company with an international presence!
Partial Description of Responsibilities:
Analyze work orders and associated Engineering Drawings to determine supply needs and welding process requirements (weld process, weld position, filler metal, preheat/interpass purging, post weld heat treatment, weld documentation etc.)
Performs welding activities in accordance with approved weld procedures.
Inspect work to ensure meets specified standards and quality.
Documentation of all welding activities.
Conduct basic maintenance of tooling/welder/grinder, ensuring powerline, gas line and water line work properly.
Use ultrasonic cleaner to wash parts and maintain the parts as oil free.
Other duties as assigned.
Monitors work environment for hazards and follows all required welding safety protocols.
Requirements:
3+ years of TIG welding experience.
Understand the process of working with a variety of materials.
Excellent verbal and written communication-Meticulous with a high attention to detail.
