TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a growing organization in the North Tampa area. This is a great opportunity for someone with Accounts Receivable, cash applications, payment processing, or general accounting experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will primarily focus on payment reconciliation and application, helping ensure incoming payments are accurately researched, matched, and applied to the appropriate customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and timely.
Reconcile payments against customer accounts and outstanding invoices.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records and documentation.
Assist with account reconciliations.
Communicate with internal departments regarding payment or account discrepancies.
Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, Payment Processing, or Accounting.
Experience within the construction, electrical, skilled trades, or related service industry is highly preferred.
Understanding of Accounts Receivable processes in a project-based or service-driven environment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable researching and resolving payment discrepancies.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
