Temp Experts is actively seeking an Assembler to join the production team for a fast growing company in Clearwater, FL.
The Assembler role is responsible for production and quality assurance to meet our customers’ quality and timeliness demands and support the achievement of the company’s goals and objectives.
The ideal candidate must be good with measurements and mathematics.Â
Responsibilities:
Assemble components using tools like staple guns, hog-ring guns, and hot melt glue guns, according to specific instructions.
Inspect components and finished units for defects and structural issues.
Ensure products meet quality standards and report any issues to supervisors.
Measure dimensions and verify tolerance accuracy of components.
Follow safety and efficiency guidelines, and be able to read tags and documentation.
Perform minor repairs or reject unacceptable components as needed.
Operate pneumatic and hand tools for assembly.
May be required to cross-train on other assembly tasks or departments.
Meet production goals within established guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of related production or mechanical assembly experience and/or training.Â
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to stand for duration of shift and hear/respond in a loud setting.Â
Basic computer skills for data entry, email, etc.
May be required to work holidays and weekends.
Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a drug test required.
U.S. citizenship required.
