Summary of Primary Functions:
This position is responsible for handling bookkeeping, clerical, and some administrative work relating to the accounts payable system.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting regulations and standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
Proficiency in Quickbooks Desktop, Excel, budgeting and financial analysis.
Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures
Experience in association financing is a plus
Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and debits/credits.
Our client is a small association management company looking for a bookkeeper to complete the day-to-day functions and monthly financials. Candidate MUST have experience working with QuickBooks desktop. Previous experience as a bookkeeper for associations is a plus. Hours are flexible for the right candidate. Accepting applications for part-time or full-time.
