TempExperts is hiring a Buyer/Purchasing Agent that will be responsible for meeting the company’s goal.                                                                                                       Â
This Company specializes in precision machined components and assemblies primarily for the aircraft, aerospace, and defense industries. Purchasing items requested from our various departments (such as cutting tools, shop supplies, etc.) issuing POs for subcontract operations, following up with our subcontractors, and coordinating with our driver for local pickups and deliveries.
The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ purchasing, procurement, or buyer duties and responsibilities.
Sample of Responsibilities:

Develop purchasing strategies to ensure consistent inventory.
Research a variety of vendors to find the products we need for the best prices.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Coordinate with subcontractors to meet production schedules.
Establish standard operating procedures for purchasing and monitor the effectiveness of procedures Buyer Requirements and Qualifications
5+ years' experience in the procurement of materials and supplies
Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in an aerospace precision machining or metalworking environment preferred.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Proficiencies:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in similar role
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a challenging environment to assure quality and delivery requirements.
Ability to understand & follow written & verbal instructions.
Effective communication skills both verbal & written.
US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
