CNC Multi-Axis Lathe Operators (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift)

Location: Clearwater, FL
Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay based on experience, machine type, and shift

TempExperts is hiring motivated and skilled CNC Multi-Axis Lathe Operators for a high-growth manufacturing company in Clearwater, FL. We have openings across all shifts.

Machines You May Work With

We are seeking operators with experience on any of the following platforms, or strong CNC fundamentals with willingness to learn:

  • Star Swiss Lathe

  • Ganesh Swiss Lathe

  • Eurotech Triple-Turret Lathe

  • Yang Lathe

  • Index 8-Axis Lathe

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes.

  • Perform machine setup, tool changes, and offsets.

  • Read and interpret blueprints with accuracy.

  • Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

  • Ensure all parts meet strict quality and tolerance requirements.

  • Conduct part inspections and testing as needed.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work standards.

  • Follow safety procedures and production guidelines.

  • Perform additional machining tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Multi-axis lathe experience (minimum requirement).

  • Strong blueprint reading skills.

  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools required.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new machines.

  • Excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork.

  • Strong reliability and attendance.

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

  • Ability to edit programs offline preferred. 

  • Knowledge of G & M code.
