Job Summary:
TempExperts is partnered with a top-ranking Tampa, FL law firm for an Employment LawAttorney. The ideal candidate must have a Florida Bar License, experience in State and Federal employment law. This is a fully in-office role with room for growth. Firm offers competitive benefits as well as profit sharing.
Responsibilities:
Experience working in a law firm with substantial Employment Law experience including, but not limited to, wage and hour issues, workplace safety, discrimination, disability, and family and medical leave.
Must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and have exceptional analytical and writing skills.
Advise on compliance with Federal and State employment law.
Provide initial analysis of cases and develop case strategy
Draft legal motions and attend hearings.
Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
Assist and lead trial proceedings.
Advise employers on compliance with federal and state employment law.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Florida Bar License.
3-5 years preferred.
Must be able to handle a deal from beginning to close.
