Job Description
TempExperts is hiring a Human Resources Generalist/Manager to join a prestigious manufacturing company in the Tampa Bay area.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist / Manager to perform general HR duties, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies & practices.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist / Manager to perform general HR duties, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies & practices.
The HR Generalist / Manager is responsible for:
- Attracting new talent, by increasing community awareness about the company and the career development opportunities that we offer.
- Overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Ensuring policies and practices are maintained and kept up to date.
- Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Engaging and developing the workforce and leadership team.
- Tactfully and diplomatically driving ownership and accountability.
- Working with department leadership to address personnel issues.
- Being the subject matter expert in labor relations and company benefit offerings.
Required Proficiencies:
- 5+ years of Human Relations experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Working knowledge of Labor Relations Laws.
- HR experience gained at a manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus
