TempExperts is hiring a Human Resources Generalist/Manager to join a prestigious manufacturing company in the Tampa Bay area.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, hands-on HR Generalist / Manager to perform general HR duties, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies & practices.
The HR Generalist / Manager is responsible for:
Attracting new talent, by increasing community awareness about the company and the career development opportunities that we offer.
Overseeing employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
Ensuring policies and practices are maintained and kept up to date.
Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
Engaging and developing the workforce and leadership team.
Tactfully and diplomatically driving ownership and accountability.
Working with department leadership to address personnel issues.
Being the subject matter expert in labor relations and company benefit offerings.
Ideal Candidate: Required Proficiencies:
5+ years of Human Relations experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Working knowledge of Labor Relations Laws.
Desired Proficiencies:
HR experience gained at a manufacturing facility is strongly preferred.
SHRM-CP a plus
