TempExperts is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for a direct hire opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney who wants to manage an active caseload while working in a professional and supportive litigation environment. Responsibilities
Manage a significant insurance defense caseload from inception through post-trial
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
Prepare timely status reports for insurance carriers and clients
Develop and maintain client relationships through professional communication
Travel to courthouses and other litigation-related locations as needed
Meet monthly billing expectations
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial
Experience taking and defending depositions
Strong oral advocacy and persuasive communication skills
Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to evaluate cases and develop litigation strategy
Comfortable working with legal case management systems and technology
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Time Matters, Juris, or Acuity a plus)
Qualifications
Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar
