TempExperts is seeking a Landlord Liaison in St. Petersburg, FL for a full-time opportunity. This role supports housing operations by serving as a point of contact between landlords, property owners, tenants, inspectors, and internal staff. The position combines administrative coordination, customer service, and working knowledge of local property types, market trends, and pricing patterns to support lease activity, inspections, and landlord engagement while ensuring documentation and processes align with program requirements and operational goals.
Responsibilities:
Maintain working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations and program guidelines.
Serve as the primary liaison for landlords and property owners, responding to questions, concerns, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Compile, track, and maintain data related to lease-ups, recertifications, inspections, and move-ins for reporting purposes.
Coordinate with third-party vendors and inspectors to facilitate unit inspections and follow up on failed inspections or required corrective actions.
Monitor landlord satisfaction and assist with issue resolution related to inspections, documentation, or tenant concerns.
Maintain accurate and complete landlord, owner, and property records in electronic and physical filing systems.
Assist with outreach efforts to recruit and retain participating landlords and property owners.
Schedule and participate in meetings, hearings, and related housing activities as assigned.Â
Communicate program requirements and compliance expectations to landlords and property owners.Â
Demonstrate an understanding of property types, local market trends, pricing patterns, and inventory cycles, including neighborhood characteristics, comparative market analysis (CMA) fundamentals, and new construction versus resale dynamics.
Address health, safety, and housing-related concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are completed.
Perform other related administrative and housing support duties as assigned.
Requirements/Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in housing, property management, or a related compliance-driven environment preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Knowledge of subsidized housing or rental assistance programs is a plus.
Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software systems.
