Temp Experts is Hiring a Legal Assistant with Defense Experience for a Prestigious Law Firm in Tampa!
This direct hire position will work with the workman’s compensation department for an equity partner. Having previous experience, and strong scheduling skills is required for the role.Â
Responsibilities:
Provide support to Senior Partner to include heavy scheduling.
Communicate with attorneys within the firm, staff at opposing counsels’ offices, judges’ offices, and doctors’ offices.
Scheduling of various matters.
Monitor deadlines and attorney calendars.
Create witness lists, medical composites.
Skills:
Ability to work as a paralegal and/or legal assistant.
Familiarity with legal procedures, protocols, and court system.
Computer literacy.
Proficiency in English.
Knowledge of day-to-day operations in a legal office.
Knowledge of case management software. Will Train on Aderant Total Office.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple activities and operate under pressure.
Schedule:
7.5-hour shift
Monday to Friday
Paid Parking
