A well-established Florida law firm is seeking Associate Attorneys with experience in general liability and insurance defense for immediate, in-office openings in Coral Gables. This full-time opportunity is ideal for attorneys who want to manage their own caseload and grow within a stable litigation practice.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a general liability defense caseload from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
Support litigation strategy; attend depositions, mediations, and case evaluations
Handle third-party defense matters, including:
Premises liability
Automobile accident defense
Insurance defense litigation
Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience as a general liability and/or insurance defense attorney
Third-party claims experience only (no first-party work)
Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
Strong litigation, writing, and case management skills
Ability to work in-office (not a remote position)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $125,000–$145,000 (commensurate with experience)
