What You’ll Do
Prepare, proofread, and edit commercial real estate and finance documents (leases, purchase agreements, loan documents, easements, closing binders)
Coordinate and support transaction closings with clients, lenders, title companies, and third parties
Maintain deal checklists, track milestones, and assist attorneys to ensure timely closings
Manage attorney calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and closings
Organize and maintain client files within the document management system
Handle new business intake, conflict checks, and matter opening/closing
Enter attorney time and assist with billing, including pre-bill review and edits
Answer and route calls and respond to client and internal inquiries
Perform administrative duties including correspondence, expense reports, CLE tracking, and check requests
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma required
Minimum 5+ years of law firm experience supporting commercial real estate and/or real estate finance
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, finance terminology, and closing processes
Experience drafting transactional documents and coordinating complex closings preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; iManage and Aderant experience a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong client-service mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Professional discretion with confidential information
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
