TempExperts is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with at least 5 years of Insurance Defense experience for the firms Tampa, FL location. Ideal candidates will have handled cases in areas such as medical malpractice, general liability, personal injury, and wrongful death.
This role involves providing high-level support to attorneys, managing complex case files, and ensuring top-quality, billable work for clients.
Responsibilities:
Manage client documents and electronic data; identify and gather additional relevant materials.
Conduct legal and background research; obtain authenticated records when needed.
Prepare discovery and production documents, including indexing, labeling, and redacting.
Coordinate all aspects of trial preparation, including exhibits, evidence, witness lists, subpoenas, and logistics.
Summarize and organize medical records, billing information, and related documentation.
Maintain professional communication with clients, insurance carriers, co-counsel, and expert witnesses.
Collaborate with expert witnesses for selection, retention, and case preparation.
Review vendor invoices for accuracy and process in a timely manner.
Requirements/Education:
College degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program.
Florida Registered Paralegal preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant litigation experience; trial experience a plus.
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with legal research tools, MS Office, and standard office equipment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines while maintaining professionalism.
