Overview:
TempExperts is hiring for well-established law firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Legal Receptionist to join their team in Pinellas County. This role requires prior experience in a law firm setting and a strong ability to manage front desk responsibilities while supporting administrative and light accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming office environment.
Maintain and update the firm’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and deadlines.
Open new case files and maintain client records accurately.
Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail.
Prepare vendor checks and ensure timely payments.
Deposit checks and accurately record transactions into Clio (case management system).
Order and manage office supplies and inventory.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment.
Probate experience a plus.Â
Proficiency with Clio (or similar legal practice management software).
Experience using QuickBooks for check preparation and basic accounting tasks.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and client service abilities.
High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
