Litigation Paralegal Miami, FL Direct Hire Temporary 3-month assignment
An established law firm in Miami is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with experience in commercial litigation preferred. This position plays a crucial role in supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process, including trial preparation, document management, and legal research. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing high-volume case files from inception to resolution. This is a 3-month assignment.Â
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of litigation files, including discovery, subpoenas, and court filings.
Draft legal documents such as discovery requests, responses, pleadings, and subpoenas.
Conduct factual investigations and summarize findings for attorney revie.
Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcript.
Coordinate and prepare exhibits, trial notebooks, and electronic presentations.
Assist with case chronology and privilege logs.
File documents in State and Federal courts using e-filing system.
Track critical case deadlines and maintain accurate calendaring.
Attend trials as needed and assist with logistics, technology, and case materials.
Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to ensure smooth case.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ litigation experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong trial preparation experience, including use of exhibit/trial software (e.g., TrialPad, Sanction, Relativity).
Must have State and Federal e-filing experience.Â
Demonstrated ability to issue, track, and follow up on records subpoenas (including medical records).
Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational abilitie.
Familiarity with e-discovery tools and electronic case management systems.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software platform.
Must be able to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate attorney needs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
