TempExperts - is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with Florida experience to join a growing firm in Tampa, FL. This is a Direct Hire position.Â
This Paralegal would be supporting multiple attorneys by providing project assistant support and oversight. A successful match will be a dedicated and experienced legal professional with a strong background and experience in litigation.Â
Responsibilities:
Deposition Coordination:Â Work closely with attorneys to coordinate depositions of parties involved in cases.
Efficient Documentation:Â Summarize and organize depositions, records, and testimony using cutting-edge litigation support technology tools.
Drafting Prowess:Â Prepare various pleadings and be familiar with e-filing procedures in both Federal and State litigation.
Trial Preparation:Â Assist with all aspects of case litigation, including identifying and marking exhibits for motions, position papers, mediation, depositions, and trial.
In the Courtroom:Â Be a valuable asset during trials by handling exhibits, demonstrative aids, and witnesses.
File Management:Â Organize and maintain case files from inception to completion.
Investigative Skills:Â Conduct factual investigations and interviews to uncover key parties, related issues, and relevant documents for discovery.
Medical Records:Â Review medical records and create concise medical chronologies.
Subpoenas:Â Prepare non-party record subpoenas, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Hearings Support:Â Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings.
Other Duties: As required—because versatility is your middle name!
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or related education preferred).
3-5+ years of litigation experience.
Comfortable juggling multiple attorneys’ needs.
Proficiency in office software applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PDF.
