TempExperts has partnered with a reputable Tampa law firm handling complex litigation matters, including insurance defense, medical malpractice, construction, and products liability. This is a Direct Hire opportunity for a Litigation Paralegal with strong trial preparation skills and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
Responsibilities:
Manage cases from intake through settlement or verdict.
Prepare and file pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
Draft and respond to discovery, including interrogatories, requests for admissions, and requests for production.
Prepare deposition summaries, chronologies, and case summaries.
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, trial notebooks, expert binders, jury research, and witness coordination.
Conduct legal research and fact investigations.
Maintain attorney calendars to ensure timely responses and compliance with deadlines.
Perform accurate e-filing in State and Federal Court systems.
Serve as liaison between clients, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and witnesses.
Requirements/Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; paralegal certification preferred.
1–3+ years of litigation experience required.
Insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of complex litigation, including medical malpractice, construction, and products liability.
Proficiency with e-filing in State and Federal courts.
Ability to efficiently support multiple attorneys.
