TempExperts is seeking a Machine Operator to join a well-established company in Orlando, FL. This employee will be responsible for assisting designated machine operators or production teams in a variety of functions including, but not limited to maintenance, clean up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, material-handling, and others.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Operating machinery or equipment as trained and instructed to ensure production and maintain product quality.
Adjusting, troubleshooting, and making minor equipment repairs as needed.
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to all plan health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. Following safety guidelines is a must at all times.
Handling assignments in a repetitive and/or sequential order for completing tasks assigned.
Keeping work area clean: including machines, conveyors, machinery, floors, etc.
Using security at all times and follow all safety regulations.
Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately.
Loading and unloading of trucks.
Completing shipping and receiving documents.
Packaging and labeling products properly.
Verify loads leaving the premises.
Maintain, verify, and count product inventory.
Learning and performing new tasks as needed.
In this role, you may be required to operate the following equipment:
Hoppers
Bagging and sealing machines.
Forklift
Palletizers
Hydraulic equipment
Powered tractors or vehicles
Variety of hand tools
*Internal certification/training is required for these tasks.
Experience and Requirements:
Previous machine operator experience required.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to follow company production or safety procedures and pass internal certification training.
Forklift experience is a plus!
Willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, etc. as needed. Employees required to wear personally own steel-toed boots.
