TempExperts is hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join a thriving company with government contracts in Largo, FL!
The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent proficiency in Preventive Maintenance, overhauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Adheres to safety and quality standards.
The maintenance area includes facilities, equipment preventative maintenance functions & analysis of breakdowns & repair. Adheres to safety and quality standards.
Support the installation of new equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and/or repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures. Ensure all repairs are documented.
Perform related preventive maintenance on equipment and / or facilities when appropriate.
Keep work area neat, clean, and organized.
other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Two (2) years minimum practical experience in maintenance in Machine Stamping environment preferably.
Basic Math, ability to interpret simple to complex blueprints and schematics.
Strong electrical background required. Single and three phase industrial electricity and control systems.
Pneumatic / Hydraulics systems/ HVAC System
Must follow quality and safety standards.
Must be reliable.
occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifty pounds.
Ability to read blueprints and Experience with using maintenance equipment, conveyor systems, compressors, electrical systems, gearboxes, pumps, valves, metal joining (welding, gas & electric, soldering and brazing), plumbing.
Preferred Experience
Experience in Lean Manufacturing, AS9100, ISO, FDA, GMP preferred.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
