TempExperts is seeking a 3PL Logistics Manager for a fast-paced operation in Miami, FL. This role oversees outbound distribution across multiple warehouse locations and third-party logistics providers. The position ensures timely, accurate order fulfillment, maintains inventory integrity, optimizes transportation spend, and supports cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Oversee outbound operations across internal warehouses and 3PL partners.
Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for outbound processes.
Monitor inbound goods arriving at 3PLs and coordinate labor and space planning.
Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance across all 3PL locations.
Negotiate transportation rates and services with carriers and 3PL partners.
Manage carrier and 3PL performance, including selection and ongoing evaluation.
Conduct bi-weekly performance meetings and routine on-site visits.
Support Sales and Customer Service teams with freight quotes and shipment escalations.Â
Analyze transportation spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Monitor KPIs and address recurring operational issues.
Prepare accurate and timely operational reports for leadership.
Requirements/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in outbound logistics or warehouse operations.
Strong knowledge of TMS and WMS systems.
Experience negotiating transportation and 3PL contracts.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Â
Proficiency in Excel and ability to manage transportation spend.
Demonstrated leadership and delegation abilities.
