Paralegal – Estate & Trust Tampa, FL Direct Hire
TempExperts is seeking an experienced Estate & Trust Paralegal for a well-established legal team in the Tampa Bay area. This position offers the opportunity to handle a wide variety of estate and trust matters, providing substantive legal support to attorneys and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout all phases of estate and trust administration.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal support to attorneys in estate and trust matters, including document review and case management.
Draft and prepare correspondence, receipts, releases, waivers, and other legal documents for execution.
Audit estate and trust accountings, trace assets, verify distributions, and ensure accurate reporting.
Conduct research and communicate with courts, trust officers, executors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
Analyze files and prepare detailed memos summarizing assets, distributions, and financial data.
Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems with accurate notes and follow-up timelines.
Support attorneys with audit responses, reviews, and conference calls; assist in resolving discrepancies.
Coordinate with internal departments to document and record estate and trust assets.
Requirements/Education:
Minimum of four (4) years of legal experience in estate planning, trusts, and estates.
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or eligibility to obtain.
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies preferred.
Strong analytical, auditing, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Â
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
