Responsibilities:

  • Review subcontractor bids to help ensure proposals address the complete project scope.
  • Assist Estimators and Project Managers with identifying construction-document conflicts, unclear details, and missing information.
  • Prepare, submit, and track RFIs and coordinate responses from architects, designers, ownership groups, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  • Assist with transitioning awarded projects from estimating/preconstruction to the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Organize contracts, drawings, scopes, budgets, schedules, subcontractor information, and outstanding preconstruction items during project turnover.
  • Assist with identifying materials and equipment with potential long lead times.

  • Maintain project logs, meeting notes, project files, subcontractor lists, bid comparisons, schedules, and tracking reports.
  • Assist Project Managers with change documentation, submittals, procurement tracking, project correspondence, and other project support as needed.

Requirements:
  • Construction industry experience in preconstruction, estimating, project coordination, or a closely related role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Procore and construction document control.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, finish schedules, and related project documents.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, bid packages, proposals, or procurement activities.
  • Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change documentation, project turnover, and construction project workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, documents, and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Local to the Tampa area and able to work onsite Monday–Friday.
