TempExperts is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join a busy warehouse operation in Tampa, FL. This temp-to-perm role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, forklift certification, and experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
• Pick customer orders per pick tickets and prepare for shipment
• Ship outgoing orders accurately and on time
• Receive incoming shipments; verify counts, accuracy, and condition
• Conduct weekly physical inventory counts using P21
• Complete daily put-away reports and maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate forklift as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and workstation
Performance Expectations
• Orders shipped within 4 hours
• Shipments received and processed within 4 hours
• Inventory accuracy maintained within 2% variance
• Warehouse kept clean, safe, and organized
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and P21
• Forklift certification required
• Familiarity with UPS/FedEx shipping systems
• Ability to use Harvest for time and job tracking
• Working knowledge of warehouse products and components
