TempExperts is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a well-established manufacturing company in Tampa, FL. This role focuses on producing precision parts that meet exacting specifications, maintaining high quality standards, and contributing to a safe, efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Manufacture high-precision parts to specification, ensuring they are defect-free and completed right the first time.
Meet production deadlines and deliver finished components on time.
Consistently uphold quality standards for all machined products.
Promptly communicate any production delays or issues and suggest practical solutions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production schedules.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Properly store and label all parts, tools, and hazardous materials.
Follow all OSHA-required safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment.
Participate in OSHA safety training sessions.
Cross-train on additional production tasks as needed.
Operate supplementary equipment such as saws, grinders, and similar machinery.
Verify the quality of all finished products.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements/Education:
Proficiency with MasterCAM or similar CAM software.
One-year certificate from a college or technical program, or a combination of education and hands-on experience.
Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts.
Comfortable reading blueprints, production specs, and safety documents.
Effective communication skills and ability to follow straightforward instructions.
Capable of troubleshooting and solving routine production problems.
Regular lifting of up to 25 pounds, with extended periods of standing or walking (more than 4 hours daily).
