TempExperts is hiring a Staff Accountant for a well-established Healthcare company with multiple locations to work in the Clearwater office.Â
The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience to maintain the General Ledger and business transactions of the organization, adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) through analytical work and financial record review.
Responsibilities:
Uphold the organization's mission, values, and policies.
Manage daily cash account reviews and cash management entries.
Record and reconcile revenues, expenses, and monthly journal entries; prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with capital equipment recording and reconciliation.
Prepare and file assigned State and County reports (e.g., Florida State Sales Tax, Unclaimed Property, Tangible Property Tax).
Support the preparation and review of annual budgets.
Conduct variance analysis and follow-up for budget/forecast discrepancies.
Prepare month-end financial statements and ad-hoc reports.
Review accounts payable vouchers to ensure robust internal accounting controls.
Provide audit support and prepare various month-end reports.
Work flexible hours during peak periods.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains) and 30+ WPM accurate typing skills.
Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines while maintaining positive professional relationships.
