Supervisor - Precision Machine Shop Tampa, FL Direct Hire
TempExperts is seeking a full-time Supervisor at a precision machine shopto oversee machine shop production activities. This is a direct hire opportunity at a company with over 40 years in manufacturing located in Tampa, FL.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a demanding environment that requires juggling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities:
Must be able to manage and motivate a workforce of 10-30 people over a 24/7 fast paced job shop environment utilizing CNC equipment to produce close tolerance components and assemblies
Creating a culture of accountability and disciplined adherence to manufacturing processes with a focus on accountability and disciplined adherence to manufacturing processes.
Creating a culture of continuous improvement that results in improved competitiveness and profitability.
Oversee troubleshooting efforts and create and implement effective corrective actions.
Results oriented self-starter who possesses exceptional self-management skills and a high level of personal accountability.
Educational/Job Experience:
5 or more years’ of manufacturing in Aircraft and defense.
ISO-9001/AS-9100 experience.
Knowledge of CNC machine shop practices and training in related areas, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing Techniques and Continuous Improvement would be preferred.
