TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Legal Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals on short-term assignments in Palm Harbor, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who can adapt quickly, work independently, and jump into assignments with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals.
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
Manage case files, maintain calendars, and schedule appointments.
Answer phones and professionally handle client and court communications.
Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing legal records.
Requirements/Education:
Prior experience as a legal assistant or in a legal office setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments.
Reliable transportation and availability for short-notice assignments.
