Title Processor – Remote (FL, TX, AR) Position: Temp to Perm

About the Role
As a Title Processor, you will review title commitments and supporting documentation, identify and resolve title defects, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to prepare files for closing. Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills are essential, as you’ll interact with clients, lenders, attorneys, and municipal offices throughout the curative process.
Key Responsibilities
Review title commitments and supporting documents to identify issues or defects
Resolve title defects such as missing documents, unreleased liens, and ownership discrepancies
Communicate with clients, attorneys, lenders, surveyors, and municipal offices to obtain curative items
Draft and process curative documents, including affidavits, releases, and corrective deeds
Update title files and systems with accurate documentation and progress notes
Partner with underwriters to determine acceptable curative solutions
Ensure all curative actions comply with legal standards and company policies
Prepare files for closing by confirming title is clear and all requirements are met
Maintain organized records and support quality assurance initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement of curative and processing workflows
Qualifications
Experience in title processing, curative work, or real estate closing support
Strong understanding of title commitments and related legal documentation
Ability to interpret legal descriptions, liens, and encumbrances
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Work Environment
Fully remote role with minimal travel
Fast-paced environment requiring strong prioritization and responsiveness
Collaboration with examiners, closers, underwriters, and external agencies
