Job Description

TempExperts is currently seeking a Valve Assembler in your local area.
 
Position Summary
Performs a variety of duties providing assembly of new valves and disassembly of valves in need of repair.  You will also perform test set up to ensure valves are made to our quality and operational standards.  Work involves complex custom engineered products. 

Principal Activities
  • Perform assembly and disassembly of new valves and repairing valves.
  • Perform tests on valves to confirm they meet the required standards.
  • Prepare open and inspect reports for any return material authorizations.
  • Provide guidance and instructions or individually make the repairs necessary to correct the operational problems.
  • Provide accurate estimates of labor and materials to repair product so a quote can be generated.
  • All other duties and tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Mechanical minded and oriented.
  • Intermediate knowledge of various hand tools.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform multi-faceted projects in rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrate analytical, critical thinking and strategic skills.
  • High pressure testing and Steam testing knowledge.
Education
  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2-4 years previous experience in Assembly and Disassembly
  • Must be able to obtain a Department of Defense issued Confidential Security Clearance or possessed a Security Clearance within the past 24 months.
